$5,000 Bonus Bucks on the Line for Gulf Coast Doubleheader

The ASA Southern Super Series Doubleheader is this weekend on the Pensacola-Mobile Gulf Coast. The SSS will be at Five Flags Speedway in Florida for the Pensacola Sports 100 on Friday Night. This event also hails as Race #2 in the Deep South Cranes Blizzard Series. The next night, teams will cross the Bay to race at Mobile International Speedway for the Mobile Sports Authority 100 in Alabama.

In addition to each event paying $10,000 to win,  an announced partnership with Diamond Seamless Solutions, a Lucedale, Mississippi company, will reward a driver who can win both races in the 2025 Gulf Coast Doubleheader with an additional $5,000.

On top of that, the Driver with the best two night average finish will win an extra $1,000, courtesy of Gulf Coast Graphix in Mobile.

RW Race Engines, Progressive Racing Engines, Upchurch Performance, McGunegill Engine Performance, and PME Engines all collaborate to reward each night’s fastest qualifier with $500.

Along with the bonus money, teams who run Friday night in Pensacola, will be honored with five free pit passes for the Mobile race on Saturday.  A way to pay the teams back for supporting both nights.

Last year Stephen Nasse came very close to capturing the weekend sweep. After winning at Five Flags on Friday Night, he got caught up in a skirmish on Saturday Night a few laps short of the finish while battling for the win. Cole Butcher ended up with the win in a photo finish with Jake Finch.
